There's no place like home for Tullahoma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Community Vikings/Viqueens on Wednesday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Vikings/Viqueens walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-100) Tullahoma actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 14-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Emily Bell paced Tullahoma's offense, picking up eight kills. Bell got some help from Avanley Metcalf and her 21 assists. Metcalf was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Tullahoma now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Tullahoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lawrence County on the 21st. Community has also already played their next game (against Central Magnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
