Volleyball Recap: Cornell Comes Up Short

Cornell was the 2-0 winner over Butternut when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs fell just short of the Midgets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cornell sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 16-14.

Cornell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Butternut, their victory bumped their record up to 14-17.

Cornell has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Phillips on the 11th. As for Butternut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Gilman on the 11th.
