Softball Recap: Fair Lawn Takes a Loss

Fair Lawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northern Highlands Highlanders. The match marked the Cutters' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fair Lawn now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Northern Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Fair Lawn will take on New Milford on Wednesday. As for Northern Highlands, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-2 defeat against Ridgewood on the 2nd.
