West Harrison is 8-2 against Paton-Churdan since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The West Harrison Hawkeyes will take on the Paton-Churdan Rockets at 5:15 p.m. Neither West Harrison nor Paton-Churdan posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Last Friday, West Harrison took a blow against CAM, falling 69-27. The Hawkeyes have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Paton-Churdan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Coon Rapids-Bayard 67-21. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Crusaders are ranked 75th).

Paton-Churdan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for West Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

West Harrison might still be hurting after the 64-41 defeat they got from Paton-Churdan when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can West Harrison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
