Basketball Recap: Mansfield Timberview Skates Past Burleson with Ease

Mansfield Timberview won the last time they faced Burleson and things went their way on Friday too. The Mansfield Timberview Wolves claimed a resounding 60-32 win over the Burleson Elks. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Elks are ranked 758th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mansfield Timberview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dani Milliner, who posted 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Viola Tadja, who went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Mansfield Timberview pushed their record up to 18-13 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 32.5% in those games and 27.2% outside of them.
