Baseball Recap: Schuyler County Takes a Loss

Schuyler County managed to slip by Clark County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 8-2 to the Indians on Saturday. That makes it the first time this season the Rams have let down their home crowd.

Schuyler County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elliot Sevits, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The Rams are 3-1 when Sevits posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

This is the second loss in a row for Schuyler County and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Clark County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

While Schuyler County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
