Baseball Recap: Dansville Mustangs vs. Haverling Rams        
        
		
            
 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Dansville ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Haverling Rams out  4-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Dansville.
  Brian Geiger was a standout: he scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Reid Martin was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-5.
 On Haverling's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Thomas McNally, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Haverling  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dansville only tossed five.
 Dansville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Haverling, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Dansville will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Perry at 5:00  p.m. As for Haverling, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Edison at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
