Hope added to the longest winning streak in Wheat State (8 Man) this week by beating Tescott, 64-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Lions.

Hope took down the Trojans 64-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

White City's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sam Morgan threw for 185 and 5 touchdowns and John Settgast had 122 yards receiving. On the ground Terrence Egger chipped in 213 yards. Lloyd Worrell helped White City's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.

He was 8-17 with 0 interceptions.

Egger was a force in the backfield as the Huskies defeated Goessel.

Clayton Philpott made the biggest impact on defense this week as Peabody-Burns beat Madison/Hamilton. The 5-foot-8 sophomore grabbed 1 interception, recorded 2 fumbles and grabbed 1 sack.

Morgan put up the best numbers through the air as White City bested the Bluebirds. Morgan's favorite target this week was Settgast, who caught 5 passes for 122 yards.

John Keating's team's Morgan and Settgast have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Morgan has thrown for 1,035 yards this season, while Settgast has 30 catches for 542 yards. Mason Demars from Solomon leads the league in rushing with 1,246 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Goessel takes on Jeff Hostetter's team. At the moment, Garrett Hiebert's team is in eighth, while the Lions are in third.

The Warriors made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 161 from 248. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-34 victory over the Bulldogs last week.
