 Foundation Christian Academy can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Saturday. They blew past the Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders 15-5. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Foundation Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Caleb Hom made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Hom has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Hom was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Timmy Fry and  Brian Figueroa did most of the damage at the plate:  Fry  went 3-for-4 with seven  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  double, while  Figueroa  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all six of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Henry Salter, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances.
 On Old Plank Christian Academy's side, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hunter Moore, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, Old Plank Christian Academy  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 11  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foundation Christian Academy only tossed six.
 Foundation Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Old Plank Christian Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Christian Academy will take on Grace Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Foundation Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.4  runs per game  this season. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Community at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
