Soccer Recap: NCSSM: Durham Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but NCSSM: Durham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They never let the East Wake Academy Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but NCSSM: Durham were the better team in the second half.

Hannah Amadi and Atha Brantley scored both of NCSSM: Durham's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for NCSSM: Durham and bumps their season record up to 5-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for East Wake Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

NCSSM: Durham has already played their next match, an 8-4 victory against Raleigh Charter on the 8th. As for East Wake Academy, they will square off against Falls Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
