Desert Christian piles up the points against San Miguel

Recap: Desert Christian Eagles vs. San Miguel Vipers

In what's become a running theme this season, the Desert Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They breezed by San Miguel on the road to the tune of 81-35. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-20.

Desert Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Dobbins out in front who scored 29 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Dobbins hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Brown, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds.

Desert Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for San Miguel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Christian will take on Valley Union at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley Union will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Desert Christian is ranked 113th). As for San Miguel, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Sabino at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
