Basketball Recap: Rangeview Takes Down Ranked George Washington + How To Watch

Rangeview faced George Washington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders managed a 58-53 victory over the Patriots. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Leading Rangeview to victory were Anthony Andrew and Marceles Duncan. Andrew dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds, while Duncan almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Duncan's big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Perez, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 10 points.

Rangeview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tre Borne, who shot 78% from the field on his way to 18 points along with five boards and four steals. Borne is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played. Jordan Dotson was another key player, going 6-for-9 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Rangeview's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for George Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
