Tillamook lost against Burns back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cheesemakers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilanders. The Cheesemakers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tillamook was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 12 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.

Bailey Temple was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Tillamook's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Burns, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Looking ahead, Tillamook will challenge St. Helens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burns, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Pendleton on the 20th.
