Soccer Recap: South Hills Victorious

South Hills kept a clean sheet against West Mesquite on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the West Mesquite Wranglers out 1-0. The Scorpions wouldn't have won without Brianna Coreas, who scored the game-winner.

South Hills' win bumped their record up to 3-4-2. As for West Mesquite, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

South Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Hills' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for West Mesquite, they will head out on the road to take on Poteet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
