Football Recap: Spanish River Takes a Loss

After soaring to 48 points the game before, Spanish River was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They and the Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars were almost perfectly matched up, but the Spanish River Sharks suffered a 7-6 loss. The game marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Spanish River's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games.
