Basketball Recap: East Butler's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

While East Butler didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 62-30 win over the Twin River Titans. With the Tigers ahead 42-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Twin River lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Corbin Rodriguez, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paydon Rinkol, who scored nine points.

East Butler will face off against David City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Butler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully David City likes a good challenge. As for Twin River, they will take on Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on Tuesday.
