While Northwest Area put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Muncy. The Rangers blew past the Indians 18-0. Considering the Rangers have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jenna Robaczewski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ava Ruckle was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Addisyn Diltz, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Northwest Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muncy only posted an OBP of .062.
Northwest Area pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Muncy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Northwest Area didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-1 victory against Sugar Valley Rural on the 25th.
