Jenkins waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Long County Blue Tide by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Jenkins walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 18-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jenkins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Carter, who had 32 assists and five aces. Those 32 assists gave Carter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Young, who had 16 kills and two blocks.

They weren't the only good servers: Jenkins was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.

Jenkins' win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Long County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-15.

As of now, neither Jenkins nor the Blue Tide have any future games scheduled.
