Soccer Game Preview: Livingston Academy vs. Smith County

The Livingston Academy Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Smith County Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smith County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Livingston Academy, who comes in off a win.

While Livingston Academy fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. Everything went their way against Eagleton College & Career Academy on Thursday as Livingston Academy made off with a 5-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Smith County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Friendship Christian by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Owls couldn't quite close it out.

Gavin Kemp and Jarrain Smith scored both of Smith County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
