Baseball Recap: Burlington Takes a Loss

Burlington lost against Bedford back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 6-5. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Bedford, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6-1.

Coming up, Burlington will host Wakefield Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Red Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bedford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Acton-Boxborough on the 12th.
