Volleyball Recap: Argonaut Gets the Win

Argonaut had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Golden Sierra Grizzlies on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alayna Critchfield paced Argonaut's offense, picking up six kills. Critchfield got some help from Mia Maggi and her ten assists. Maggi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Golden Sierra and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Argonaut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Valley Christian on the 23rd. As for Golden Sierra, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Westlake Charter on the 23rd.
