Bethany Community gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 victory over the Oak Ridge Military Academy Eagles. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 49-24 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Oak Ridge Military Academy lost, don't look at Cassandra Moore. Despite the final result, she posted 28 points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Erin Logan, who put up three points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany Community will welcome River Mill at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Ridge Military Academy, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
