Baseball Recap: Elkhorn South's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Elkhorn South and Millard North squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Elkhorn South had to settle for second. They fell 4-0 to the Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Storm's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the loss, Elkhorn South broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-11. As for Millard North, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-11.

Elkhorn South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against Papillion-LaVista South on the 20th. Hopefully Millard North paid attention to the Storm's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Storm at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
