Volleyball Recap: Plattsburgh's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Northern Adirondack on Tuesday, Plattsburgh came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Beekmantown Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Plattsburgh fell to 4-1. As for Beekmantown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plattsburgh will face off against Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Bombers at the right time seeing as the Bombers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Beekmantown, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northern Adirondack at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
