Volleyball Recap: San Benito Gets the Win

San Benito saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jubilee Brownsville Titans.

Genesis Meza paced San Benito's offense, picking up eight kills. Meza got some help from Jayla Delgado and her six assists. Meza was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

San Benito's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

San Benito wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Donna on the 15th. As for Jubilee Brownsville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harvest Christian at 1:00 p.m. on the 29th.
