Madera has gone 8-2 against Edison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Coyotes will venture away from home to  face off against the Tigers  at 6:00  p.m. Madera will be strutting in after a  victory while Edison will be coming in after a  defeat.
Madera took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. They won by a  set and slipped past Sanger West  3-2. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Coyotes as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.
 Madera had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-21,  15-7.
Edison had taken Hoover down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end  on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against  the Patriots, falling  3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19,  25-10.
 Edison's loss dropped their record down to 16-19. As for Madera, their  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-26.
 Madera might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from Edison  in their previous meeting  last Tuesday. Can the Coyotes avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
