MacArthur proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Berkner Rams. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

MacArthur's victory was truly a team effort as nine different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Harris, who went 3-for-7 with one run and one double. That's the most hits Harris has posted since back in April of 2025.

Harris wasn't the only one making solid contact: MacArthur kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

MacArthur is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Berkner, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

MacArthur will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
