Baseball Recap: Pickens County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pickens County's offense. They lost 18-0 to the South Lamar Stallions on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 31, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Pickens County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Lamar, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

While Pickens County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
