Jude Turner Turns in Season-Best Effort
Ouachita Christian was led to victory by Jude Turner, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Turner rushed for 147 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory for Ouachita Christian keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Turner and Ouachita Christian will challenge Mangham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson Bradley was instrumental in extending Oak Grove's winning streak to six on Friday. Bradley was unstoppable, throwing for 149 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 78 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
Bradley might have his next game, a road matchup with Ferriday, circled on his calendar. Bradley rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Effort from Zylon Alexander Leads Ferriday over Madison
Zylon Alexander produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Ferriday to the win on Thursday. Alexander rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Ferriday's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Alexander will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Oak Grove on Thursday.

Caleb Ellis put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Thursday. He threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 65 yards.
Unfortunately for Madison, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ellis. When Ellis last faced the Jaguars back in September of 2023, he threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Oak Grove Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jay Freeman
Jay Freeman was instrumental in extending Oak Grove's winning streak to six on Friday. Freeman turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 106 yards on only 13 carries.
Mangham's probably not too fond of Freeman given he always seems to get the better of them. Freeman rushed for 174 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Dragons duked it out back in November of 2023.
