Basketball Recap: Farragut Comes Up Short

Farragut was the 24-20 winner over Victoria Soto when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Farragut Admirals were beaten by the Victoria Soto Wolves 34-6 on Friday. The Admirals were down 32-5 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Farragut has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.4 points per game. As for Victoria Soto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Farragut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victoria Soto, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Prosser at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
