Volleyball Recap: Summit Christian Academy's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Summit Christian Academy proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Benton Cardinals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 9th.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (68-67) Summit Christian Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Ashlynn Brown was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Summit Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 12-13-2. As for Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-2.
