Baseball Recap: Calumet Christian Comes Up Short

Calumet Christian was the 16-8 winner over Hebron when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 8-1 to the Hawks on Monday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calumet Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Gary, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Calumet Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Hebron, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10-1.

Calumet Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hebron, they will host Lake Station Edison at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Fighting Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
