Recap: Beatrice Orangemen vs. Norris Titans
It was a good run, but the Beatrice Orangemen unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Norris 57-52. Beatrice was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Grace Kohler, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds for Norris. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kohler has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Sullivan, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Beatrice's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2. As for Norris, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Beatrice will be playing at home against the Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Norris, they will head out on the road to square off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Lincoln Christian is ranked fifth, while the Titans are ranked sixth).
