Basketball Recap: Omaha Takes a Loss

Omaha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lead Hill Tigers and fell 83-45. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-22.

Lead Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Royce, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 23 points and three steals. Royce has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaden Baker, who went 7 of 9 en route to 15 points and six boards.

Omaha's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lead Hill, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jasper the next time they take the court. Lead Hill will head out to face Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Omaha will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
