The Jacksboro Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Burkburnett Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jacksboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Burkburnett likes a good challenge.

Jacksboro is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Jim Ned just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 42-40. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (32), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Jacksboro might have lost, but man, Luke Sams was a machine: he rushed for 174 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. Sams' longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jacksboro also got help from Cannon Valenzuela, who showed off his sure hands for 130 receiving yards.
