Softball Recap: North Valleys Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

North Valleys won against Sparks on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Panthers didn't even let the Railroaders on the board, marking the Panthers' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

North Valleys got a massive performance out of Karli Klein, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Annaka Fischer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

North Valleys always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .541 or higher in three consecutive games.

North Valleys is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Sparks, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.
