Lexington's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Temple Tigers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Temple, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Lexington has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Wayne on the 10th. As for Temple, they will take on Springer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.56 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
