Western International is a perfect 10-0 against King since June of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cowboys will face off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Western International is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Western International is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering University Liggett just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-4.

Western International got a good showing from Adrian Grullon, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Grullon has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Norberick Garcia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, King fell victim to Seaholm and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 20-0 to the Maples. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Western International's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7-2. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

Everything went Western International's way against King in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as Western International made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
