            Softball Recap: Trinity Wolves vs. Weed Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Trinity barely beat Weed the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Cougars 19-4 on Friday. The  victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.
 Brynn Sommerfeld was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Sommerfeld was also solid in the batter's box,  earning three  RBI, one  run,  and two  stolen bases. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March.

 In other batting news,  Adriana Seele was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and three  doubles. Those  three  doubles gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  JesseAnn Bickle, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Trinity  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Trinity's record is now 13-10. As for Weed,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-19-1.
 Looking ahead, Trinity will challenge Hayfork at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Timberjacks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.7  runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Weed, they will take on Fall River at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.82  runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
