Baseball Recap: Buckfield Comes Up Short

Buckfield suffered their biggest loss since April 29, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Telstar Rebels, falling 8-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucks of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Buckfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krosby Harvey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That hit marked the first that Harvey has got this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Buckfield and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Telstar, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Buckfield will host Rangeley Lakes at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Telstar, they will square off against Carrabec at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
