Volleyball Recap: Glenbard North Takes a Loss

Glenbard North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schaumburg Saxons. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saxons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Glenbard North's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Schaumburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Glenbard North will square off against Lake Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schaumburg, they will take on Palatine at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pirates are coming into the game with four straight losses on the road, meaning the Saxons will have to defend against a team out to prove they can win away from home.
