Southwestern got themselves on the board against Somerset Christian on Tuesday, but Somerset Christian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 15-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 on Monday.

Ben Stewart was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Chandler Taylor also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Southwestern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Southwestern back to even at 9-9. As for Somerset Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Southwestern will head out to square off against Somerset at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Briar Jumpers at the right time seeing as the Briar Jumpers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Somerset Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Metcalfe County at 6:00 p.m.
