Volleyball Recap: Norwell's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Norwell had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Gabe Dettmer was the offensive standout of the game as he had eight digs and seven assists. Those eight digs gave him a new career-high.

Norwell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Norwell's record now sits at 5-7. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Norwell will welcome Fort Wayne Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they will host DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
