Basketball Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils
The Indian Trail Hawks will be playing at home against the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Saturday, Indian Trail ended up a good deal behind the Rockets and lost 58-44. While losing is never fun, Indian Trail can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Rockets are ranked 39th).
Mj Stackhouse put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Silas Bolton, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Kenosha Bradford pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 69-55 to Racine Park. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kenosha Bradford in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.
Indian Trail's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Kenosha Bradford, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9.
