Basketball Recap: International Falls Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Iron-Buhl, International Falls was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 52-43 win over the Lake of the Woods Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

International Falls' victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Lake of the Woods, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

International Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-40 defeat against Two Harbors on the 11th. As for Lake of the Woods, they will venture away from home to challenge Warroad at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Warroad has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
