Baseball Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch lost against Hermantown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Branch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Pederson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Branch's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Hermantown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7-1 record this season.

North Branch will take on Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Magic's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Hermantown has already played their next game (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
