Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Raiders vs. Daviess County Panthers + How To Watch

The Trinity Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Daviess County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Trinity was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ohio County 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Daviess County hadn't done well against Owensboro Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers won by a set and slipped past the Aces 3-2. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Aces on their court since August 25, 2022.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Daviess County, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Trinity couldn't quite get it done against Daviess County in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
