Banning came tearing into Monday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Desert Mirage RAMS. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-2 victory back in April.

Anthony Marcus made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Marcus was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brandon Castillo, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Banning always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Mirage only posted an OBP of .364.

Banning's record is now 14-5. As for Desert Mirage, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.
