Western Albemarle won against Monticello on Monday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Western Albemarle Warriors beat the Monticello Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-42. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Western Albemarle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. Monticello's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Western Albemarle will welcome Liberty Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Liberty Christian sitting on four straight wins and Western Albemarle on three. Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
