Volleyball Recap: Methuen Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Methuen had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Haverhill Hillies as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Rangers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hillies, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Methuen was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Methuen's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Haverhill, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Methuen will face off against rival Andover at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Haverhill is set to take on their familiar foe Dracut at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
